Do I have to have an appointment to bring my instrument in for repair?
No appointment necessary! We are open Monday – Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM. You can bring your instrument by anytime during those hours for a free estimate.

Do you tune Pianos?
Unfortunately we do not. Piano tuners are specially trained and are a part of a tuning guild. We respect this by leaving that work to them!
You are a school of repair and a repair shop. Will students be working on my instrument?
Absolutely not! We guarantee that all customer repairs will be done by journeymen or master craftsmen on the CIOMIT staff!
How long does it take to repair my instrument?
This ultimately depends on the service your instrument requires. We try to take care of most standard repairs within a week. Larger repairs such as restorations, repairs that require custom parts, and other things of that nature, may take longer. The best way to know for sure is to bring your instrument in for a …
