Can I opt out of the maintenance protection plan?

No, we are sorry, but this is a very important option! Even in the best circumstances, accidents happen, and believe us when we say you don’t want to take the chance of needing to pay those expenses on your own! Remember that this plan also covers normal maintenance that instruments need to keep them in tip top playing condition. It is so important to keep an instrument 100% responsive and easy to play, especially for a beginning student!

What if my instrument needs maintenance?

Simply bring it into the shop! We will fix it, or swap it for another instrument if necessary so the student doesn’t loose practice time! We know that after the long band season many high school band instruments need maintenance, we are open Monday-Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm.

How do I keep my instrument in top working condition?

We recommend you use the musical instrument maintenance kit you purchased when you rented the instrument! It contains items to clean and help maintain your instrument after each practice. Then, once a year we recommend you drop the instrument off at the shop for deep cleaning, routine maintenance and adjustments.

When is it Time to Upgrade to Quality Musical Instruments?

After students have learned and played on a beginner level instrument for a few years, it might be time for them to step-up to an intermediate level instrument. This upgrade will give them a better sound as well as greater playability!

Setting up a Step-Up Night at your school will give students a great opportunity to take advantage of discounted prices, interest free financing, and rental credit transfers through our Rent+ instrument rental program (not to mention increase the production quality of your band).

Please note that these events are not high pressure! We are not trying to convince anyone to purchase anything they are not ready to buy. We simply want to educate students and parents on the benefits of intermediate and professional level instruments. If they are interested in purchasing, we love to give great discounts and provide great financing options!

On Step-Up nights, we do special pricing! Anyone can come to our store at any time to buy instruments, but we like to give a little extra at these instrument nights. We understand that instruments are a big investment for students and their parents and we want to make sure they get what they want for a great price!

Rental Credit

Our Rent+ instrument rental program is a beautiful thing when it comes time to step up to a new instrument! If your students have been renting with us, they can trade in their rental and use their payment credit towards a step-up instrument.
