Withdrawal

A withdrawal is generally a permanent separation from CIOMIT. Either you or CIOMIT may decide that the program does not meet your educational needs. In this case, you may send your request withdrawal as noted below. The day you were last in your classroom will dictate the tuition refund percentage. Given the refund policy and the complications presented by federal loan regulations, you should decide fairly early in the semester of a withdrawal is necessary.

If you feel you need to withdraw later than week five of the class, you will be strongly encouraged to finish the entire class before withdrawing. Most students who consider withdrawing then stay and typically end up finishing the entire program. Very quickly, students become more comfortable in the online environment, become adjusted to reserving lab time, start to make good friends with their cohorts, and begin to enjoy the challenging lessons.

When a withdrawal is necessary you must the make the following request in writing to the appropriate department.

• Requests for withdrawal must be submitted to the programs administrative director
• Requests for a refund must be submitted to the Institute’s Bursar.

Refund schedule

Please note or refunds given below showing the percentage of tuition refunded. Fees, tools, and supplies are non – refundable.
